Then what would you suggest for a tire size. I plan to lower later, but not in the budget right now and want the tires to look as flush as they can on stock height.

Breezy, what do you want the wheels/tires for? Looks, performance - street, 1/4 mile, track, what kind of miles will you drive? Budget? etc. The size you asked about would be ok if the offset weren't so much as Ubeyo mentioned.

Thanks for the response Hasbro. Tires are just for daily driver, looks... I drive around 10,000 miles a year. Yah, reading up on offset change... i can see that 205/55/16 would probably rub in the back with +0 offset (correct me if I'm wrong). Saw some other posts where others recommended 205/45/16 for ep3's that aren't to low. What are your thoughts. Thanks

Your research shows that you are on the right track. Since you are looking for a general street set up you can keep looking at the several pic threads on here and on other forums (ClubEP3, Honda Tech) to match your tastes to, then buy accordingly. Hopefully others here will chime in.

I ended up going with 205/45/16... looks nice. Now I just need to camber and lower.

    Lurker post -
About to pick up BBS 17x8 +38 evo 8 rims, want to run 225s. Anybody forsee problems?
Stock suspension still, though when that goes, I won't be trying to lower it much, just stiffen it up.

    /Thanks in advance

You'll be perfectly fine if its 225/40/17 on stock height. The rear would rub in the rear on mine when i had my 225/15/50's on the rear. Also you will need oem evo lug nuts to use them. Don't do evo wheels without then.

So I've searched thoroughly and haven't found what I need.

Currently on XXR 513s (they were free! LOL) 15x7 +15 wrapped in 205/55/15 Kumho Ecsta 4X's.
    HFP suspension.
Current alignment is purely functional, 0 toe and minimal camber (think I'm around 1.5 front and .75 rear).

Kinda got tired of the poke, but like the old school look so ordered a set of Rota RBs in 16x7 +40.
I'd like to be flush, so thinking 225/50/16s should put the rubber just slightly outside the fenders.

Anyone got thoughts? I'd like to avoid rolling the rears if I can, but shit happens so if that's what it takes, so be it.
    Pics? Ideas? Experience?

That spec shall be nice, but its gonna hella sunk, you'll be sorta flush doh on the 225s.

My first set of wheels I ever owned were 16x7+40 gt3s, I had them on 205/50/16s, no camber all around and was pretty dumped.
