OK, so I'm looking at Enkei PF01s in 17 x 7.5 (Tirerack only lists them for EP3s in 17 x 7; I want the add'l half inch); there are two offsets - +38 and +45. Any thoughts on which would be better? My original choice was Buddy Club F91 Kurokis, which are +42, which is HFP spec, I believe. They're still a possibility, but the PF01s are about 1 1/2 lbs lighter each. Also, what size tires would work?

    Thanks for any help.

OK, since no one answered my question above , I'll update with my current thought. Gonna go all out and get WedsSport TC105N in 17x8 with a +38 offset, and 225/45/17 tires. Judging by my review of this thread from start to end, that looks like a completely acceptable option with my small A Spec drop. Then maybe roll the fenders in the back for a little insurance, and I just like how that looks better too. Yeah or nay??

I had rpf1's on my ep before. They were 17x7.5 +45. I switched to ccw's which are 17x8+35. I rolled my fenders in the rear a little for the new wheels. The rpf1's i had no issues with.

The 17x8 +38 with the 225 would be perfect. That's exactly the same size i have for my dd setup. I have about a finger gap though, so a rear fender roll is a must.

    Thanks for the confirmation, Rob!
Getting my snows put on my OEM rims today, so it's gonna be a while, but nice to have a good plan going forward.

Ordered the Weds on Friday when I was out in SoCal for work. And yes, I was dumb enough to go with the fluorescent yellow powdercoating by Evasive. Gonna be sweet! :-) They should be back here in Jersey early next week, but will wait til spring to slap them on. Now have to see about fender rolling. Will do pics when I can...

    Mmmm, look how pretty!!

Love 'em. Also sent out the center caps to get powdered in black pearl; the titanium silver that they came as really doesn't work with the yellow. Now have to think about tires; thinking Michelin Pilot Super Sports; pretty cheap now on TR @ $138 each.

Will be on mid-April; already have the shop lined up to do the rear rolling.

    Finally

Got the fenders rolled yesterday, and as previously stated by Rob, small roll in the rear did it. I'm very happy. Prime Motoring in north Joisey did it, and at $50 a side, was cheaper than expected. Great work. Thanks again for the help with fitment.

Just picked up an 03 ep3 and looking to put new rims on it. Right now I'm riding on stock rims, tires, and stock height. What size rims and tires should I get for a daily driver? And what rims and tires won't cut down my turn radius or screw with my speedometer? Sorry I'm new to cars and modding

Your question is too vague, honestly. What's your budget? What weight do you want for the rims? What do you want the rims to look like? 1 piece or 3? You going to drop it?

You can get any combo of rim diameter/tire that would not affect the car (within reason; 18s will give you issues with potholes, for example), so the questions above really need to be answered first. Go through this thread post by post and read about what everyone else has done, then you'll be able to narrow down your choices a lot from there.

As you can see immediately above, I'm on 17x8s and my car is my daily and hasn't had any issues yet with Jersey roads.

So I just got my eBay track wheels. They are 15x8 ET25. In these photos, the tires are 205-50-15, but I will be running 225-45-15 in the front (this was a test fit with the rears on one side of the car). I have Dynamics non-adjustable coilovers, so around a 1-inch drop. I removed the fender liners and had the fenders rolled.

In street driving, there has been no rubbing. I will try them on track this Monday. The rear seems to be at about the limit of acceptable offset without sticking out. I think I have a bit more room in front, but I will have to see what happens with the 225.

Looks good! You shouldn't have any problems. What tires will you be using?

Thanks. I will be using my two remaining Bridgestone RE71R 205-50-15 in the rear and I just bought a pair of Hankook RS3's in 225-45-15 for the front. Eventually I will end up with 4 225's.

That should help the steering feel and your final gear will be equivalent to 5.0.

Contrary to most I want to go down from a 16 to a 15" wheel. It would have to be a 5 bolt that will hold 10.75" brakes.
