you really can't beat the price....$$$$ 240 dammmm... what do you even have to loose... even if they did bust every 3000miles... its only $$$240...

Purchase price: .$240 shipped
Current Mileage: 93000 (I had em since August)
Height of Vehicle: 2 inches off the ground (:
Tire Size: 205/50/16
Wheel Size: 16x7 +37mm
Opinion of Comfort: Rides just like my H&R and Tokico Blues. Maybe a little softer. I dont bottom out or anything. I just scrape because Im hella low. Some "clunking" noise because my bearings for my strut tower fell out while re lowering it
i cant believe we lost original thread
some of you are saying that you're getting the "strut mount bearing" noises from wear. don't these come with a set of tophats? thats what it says on the website
I saw that the website said they come with tophats also, but they don't show any in the pic. I just want to make sure if they come with them, because I think my bearings are crap. And if they do, are they any good?
I did not get top hats, I recall when I recieved mine, in the directions it states that you need to re-use the exhisting top hats, which in any case, you should buy new ones anyways. It does state that it comes with 2x top hats, but it does not, in the installation hints it states:
Installation hints:
Before you lower your ride height, find out if you are allowed to lower it in your state. The installation of the coil over kit is to be done only by a licensed mechanic.
We recommend that you spray light oil on the threaded part of the coil over kit to prevent seizing of the spring seats.
Do not use pneumatic tools.
The upper insulator mounting with bearing that came with the car must be used. Aftermarket upper insulator mounts may not properly fit the Raceland coil over kit.
After you have installed the Raceland coil over kit, test it by driving it slowly and retighten all bolts to the specified torque value.
After the proper height has been determined, have your car professionally aligned.
ahh im scared ill get a clunkin noise too. Ill be putting mine on this weekend and do a report shortly after
How tough are these to install for a noob?
where you guys buying these at? From the reviews on here the ride seems fairly comfortable, I'm kinda considering it. Im getting tired of my eibach's.
we don't need a spring compressor, do we?
