I read the coolant capacities again in the shop manual before I started and it needs 5.5 quarts (not 4), so I bought another gallon. Another fun fact, the fan switch needs a 24mm socket or wrench... make sure you have one of those.

      If anyone is looking for a cost effective alternative to the Samco hoses I'd recommend the Gates hoses. They are not silicone, but they claim they perform better than the silicone hoses (http://www.gatesracing.com/hose.cfm), they are also blue in color and are way cheaper. Win, Win, Win... I got them for $28 bucks on Amazon (P/N: HK37RB).

      i had a hard time replace my thermostat and lost alot of coolant in the process.

      I had already drained my coolant since it had to be replaced anyway, but yeah I can see how if you hadn't done that you've be covered in coolant.
