Now that I have seen how nice they look on 17's I will definitely get the st-40's instead

    tnx

    EDIT:
What size rotors did you get?
Was there a reason you chose slotted vs drilled vs a combo of both? Tnx

Yeah I mean stock Type S calipers with race pads is more than sufficient, i just got these because it was a STEAL ($400) and couldnt resist the wow factor lol.

Ive got 328mm rotors, theyre slotted because it was a used kit and i just used what it came with. If I had a choice I would run blanks for cheaper resurfacing. Slots are said to help with evacuating gasses but Im skeptical of the real world advantages. Drilled is just horrible and asking for trouble. Rotor life decreases significantly with a drilled rotor.

    DAMN what a steal...$400
I'm actually waiting on a deal to come through for a stoptech bbk kit used that is coming off rsx-s
owner said pads have about 5000k on them and slotted rotors were resurfaced about 4000k ago
Seems like a good deal $800 plus shipping

I was told by peeps on here that it should be a direct fitment onto my 04 ep

tnx for the 411...I'm definitely staying away from drilled rotors...

Yeah man Kit is the same for EP3/RSX. My kit came off an 05 EP3, and bolted right up to my RSX-S suspension. I needed the 4mm spacing because of my DC5R arms and roll center adjusters. The rotors were rubbing the ends of the control arms.

since I have DC5R FLCA as well, but I dont have RCA's do you think I will need 4 mm spacers also? Which brand spacers did you get and where in case I need them to?

not sure if you will need them. Without the RCA the control arm might sit inside the hat of the rotor instead of against the surface. My spacers are custom machined and I also had the brackets machined. Its all in my post on the previous page.

CRAP! won't be able to make it Friday. Got a Wedding Rehearsal to go to and then dinner after.

Evan, thanks for the invite BTW to the meet last Sunday. I had a good time. It was a really good turnout considering the rain. Hopefully the next one it won't rain and we can really pack the lot.

When you get a chance send me a PM for the banner. I wanna join SHG.

    oh and here....

all i gotta say is S3XORS!

    Welcome and NICE!

I know everything is one off on your car maybe should design a "similar battery tray" and sell it to me :)
