    6 speed transmission help!!!!!!

    Will the 6 speed transmission from an 04 bolt right up and not need any thing???? I can use the ep3 axles right??

    Notch the shifter, replact TOB and pilot bushing.

    if you have an aftermarket shifter(neuspeed ss or BCSS) you will NOT need to shave the shifter.replace the TOB for sure and make sure to lube it good. and as far as pilot bushing i didnt do it casue the 1 on the new trans was still good. also make sure you get the 6 spd shifter mech. u dont have to have it. u can still use the 5 spd mech but i would try to get the 6 spd just cause.

    What is the 6 speed mech? stock axles will work correct?

    the shifter mechanism is the bronze colored part on the transmission that your linkage hooks to select gears.

    Yea its gonna come with that so its cool. I also have the buddy club SS and Kpro.

    then your good. just replace your TOB and you should have no issues. but you will not have the reverse lock out because our wiriing harnesses dont support it. the only way to utilize it is to pin out.
