You can bypass that stupid AC crap by turning all three of the tempurature nobs....like selection of where the heat goes, temp, and the power of the heat. You turn your car on and hold the AC button and the RECYCLE air button....hold them down and then the ac light will start to blink...then you can turn it off when you are in defrost mode...hopefully that helps...I know its not great instructions...but it works...Peace
nice nice nice
thanks

Man I dont want to sound like a jerk...But if you just took a look for yourself, its obvious where they are! You just need a nudge to get yourself out in the garage, and mess around with your new girlfriend :) Feel her up and down......She wont mind
the rear bumper is pretty straight forward
any plastic snaps...just used lfat head pop out top
any screws just unscrew
good luck!

wonder where you found that out at...
someone posted how to do this a while back (paxie i think). it was something like insert and remove the key into the ignition 3 times in a row, then some light will blink or sound will go off, booyaka, no ac.Originally posted by civicracer.com
another thing that annoys me is the how the AC turns on even when heat is on when you put on dash defogger and dash defogger/feet
i always forget to call american honda on how to shut that off (if you can)
eric
search paxies posts if this is wrong.
EDIT: man....i was a little off
if i could remember well poppa...the instruction you gave was to put alarm in valet/silent mode

i recommend honda oil 5w20
if you cant find the honda oil....at least keep the same grade
i use honda 5w20 in my car

Honda Oil = Penzoil Oil! That is what my dealership is using anyway! Only Penzoil, Gastrol and couple others make 5w20!
PaXiE....I tried that this morning on my SiR and it didn't work!!!Originally posted by PaXiE

The only light that flashed was the air circulation button not the A/C button. WTF!!! I did exactly what the video said to do.
It did the same thing with me.. the circulation was the one that was flashing.. but then after I turned off the car and started it again.. IT WORKS!!!! no more AC on defrost on command...Originally posted by CivicSiR4U2NV
