Question What Belt/Pulley Are You Guys Running??

We'll im having trouble deciding which belt to use on my setup, so ill make a poll! I'd like to know what belts you guys have used on either the 3.8 or the 4.0 and what size your running! And i'd like to know about what belts to stay away from! let's hear horror stories!

I have the 62.5" Polycog that came with the R kit, and so far im not to happy with it :( I'm not sure if it's holding me back from full boost or not, but black dust is poppin up under the hood!

use 62.2 inch gatorback belt for that set-up. that's what i'm using now and i'm running 3.7 jrsc pulley and still lots of room for adjustment. by the way, i have 440cc rc injectors and and 3.8 inch jrsc pulley ready to shift if you need them.

never had problem. just be patient when you run it the first time, needs some break in maybe 500km then re-tighten it then you can get on it.

I use the Goodyear Gatorback 62.2" Belt for the 4" and 3.8". The only thing I change is when using the 3.8" pulley I use the RSX-S 2.5" idler pulley to give me more to work with on the manual tensioner. This will also dramatically help with the belt slip issues on the 3.8" pulley.

see i already have the 2.5", but im still having slip issues with the dayco i beleive. and i checked my tension from the crank to the a/c compressor, and i can get some serious movement of the belt, so i can tighten it a ittle. but i was checking from the blower to the alternator and that seemed tight as shit, idk. i guess ill just buy a 62.2" gatorback and try it out
