04-05 mugen grill on a 02-03 ep3? PICS!

just wondering if the 04-05 mugen grill will fit the 02-03 ep3?

They look like the same fitment to me...

not if you dont feel like trimming the top of your bumper off--its a no turning back type of modification to the bumper i would say there was a diy sometime ago, but it got lost in the most previous crash

you can either pick up the real one at king motorsports or contact showstoppers for a replica

I installed an 04-05 mugen grill on my 03 EP3...no problems with the fitment but I had to drill holes on the top.



BTW, anyone know which badge will fit my grill?

i wasnt talking fitment, theres just something about the actual grill piece...i mean you could tell me if it is or not...it might just be the paint or something, but it doesnt look like it has the precision radiuses that the mugen piece has...

I don't think it looks bad but it doesn't fit tight like the authentic bits pictured above. Part of it is probably the USDM bumper.

Its not bad homie, you can barely tell and probably the only reason you can is cause the other pics of the real deal are up top and you're looking straight on it in the photo.
Looks great IMO and you saved a lot of money by going replica. The real deal on some things just isn't worth it.

The replicas honestly dont look all that bad when you get a CTR badge and a mugen emblem. i prefer it over the 02-03 version.

Kinda digging this up, but looking at getting the replica from showstoppers. The only one I see is this one: http://www.showstoppersusa.com/produ...roducts_id=266

which does not look to have the large piece for the bigger emblem as seen in Milkeye's pic. Are there 2 different replica grills?

That mugen grille is for 02-03 EP3s - it uses the original small H badge. My pic is the 04-05 grille which uses the large CTR H badge. I'm pretty sure the two grilles are interchangeable. I fitted the 04-05 grille on my 03 EP3 and I adjusted the fitment a bit from the original pic I posted and it looks great!
