I also looked into making an AWD EP3. It would NOT be hard as some say. I have measure the CRV struts/suspension and they are nearly the same. From what I listed so far, CRV rear axle hubs and struts will bolt to the EP3 body with little moddification. Relocate the gas tank. CRV Tranny will bolt to the A3 but best to use the CRV tranny (5 speed). Custom drive shaft and cut the tunnel which would be the hardest part.
All I can say is......well I can't really say anything! Maybe superb fits the bill.
Time/money/parts < buy a f*ckin awd car. sounds good but unrealistic imho. sorry
Didn't read 2nd/3rd page but wouldn't the EP's flat floor pretty much make running a driveshaft to the rear wheels near impossible?
