US vs Japan Bumper

i don't know if it's only me but can someone explain to me what are the differences between the us and japanese ep bumpers....
they look the same to me. If anyone know know please help this blind man understand....:p

Kinda hard to see, but do you notice the slight step out on the front bumper? the JDM bumpers don't have that step. They give the car that stumpy look. Also has a cut-out for the license plate.

I like the U.S. bumper better. I know some of you guys dont like the side reflector lights...I think they look pretty groovy:)

What I dont like on my del Sol is that the side bumper reflectors dont even light up. It looks like I stuck bike reflectors on my car.
