well april 14th is my tune day, and since i raced my buddys CTSC stage 2 FG2 (see "On The Road" section for race info) i've decided to do as much as i can to get the most out of this car, so i ordered my 62 1/8th inch Gates MicroV belt, only came in 8 rib version, but im handy with a razor :) and my 3.8 is going on sunday, and im going to be driving it on the basemap for the 4.0, not beating on it, just driving. I will datalog one pull, just to check slippage, but hopefully i hit over 8psi

napa could not get me that belt anymore! the only belts they could get me were a 62.75" and a 57". your's was a 61", I was able to get the little longer one so it wraps under the pulley more. I may sandblast the grooves of the pulley to roughen them up so it grabs
Why cant they get the belt anymore? Cant they order it if its not in stock?
he had the gates catalog out, the 2010 catalog, and it just didnt have it
so they dont make it anymore? that sux. Glad i got rid of the jrsc lol
well the 3.8 is on, i only did a few pulls to check for belt slippage, but the gauge is showing me between 8 and prolly 8.5 id have to say, whine is soooo much louder, and pulls a lot harder too lol
