    What does "Si" stand for?

Since it's on my car I really should know, but I don't.

Well for our cars Si should stand for:

    - Sweet Interior
    or
    - Sexy Interior

    You're all wrong.

Si stands for "sport inspired". It is referring to the suspension beign sport inspired.

    C'mon now, get it together.

If you remeber back when they first introduced the Si, civics were carbureted and the Si was the only "injected" model. I don't recall the excact term. Sport Injected or Sport Injection.

Sexy Interior has my vote :D

    Mulder,

Save your disinformation for another site.Stop peddling it here, cuz no ones buyin it. Si stands for Sport Inspired. Not Sport injected(tion), nor Sexy interior. C'mon now.

Sports injected..... thats just funny. And you are modifying your car? Did you remember to lube your muffler bearings too?

    Grooveline;

Learn to relax a bit, humour is a good thing.:p We are just having a little fun here. Whatever it stands for, it's not that much of an issue, we love the cars and that's all that really matters.

Hey why did they call them Civic's to begin with??? (No need to reply, just trying to prove a little point.:D)

I am relaxed. I tend to rant, sorry.

However, would you rather know what it is, or go to a meet and get laughed at when you say, Sport Injected!

I'll try to be calmer. It just pisses me off a tad when people talk out their ass on a site built for providing solid info about our cars.

Now what if some dude kept telling another on the site that he needs to buy such and such, part number and yadda yadda, and it was all wrong? Yeah, so there!

    Oh here's some more.

The first Civic Si (Sport Injection) model debuted in 1986. No Si variant was included when Honda redesigned the Civic for 1996.

The Honda Civic Si is the top of the line Civic for the model years of 1999 and 2000. Si stands for Sport Injection, which is trademarked by Honda.

Bro. You are wrong. I religeously read Car and Driver, Road and Track, and Sport Compact.

Ya know, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink it.

Besides, are they refering to the Honda Si? or just and SI acronym? You know what an acronym is right?
