are you talking about the one under the throttle body? Cause if you are i would just clean it while you put on the JRSC.
has anyone tried that with jrsc? if so, how's the idle and do you still need to clean the iac once a while?

yes, the one under the TB. some people removed the coolant hoses to bypass it. i want to know how it will affect the idle and whether it will still require clearning
It is the heater portion of the IAC and has no affect on the idle at all.
Go ahead and remove the TB heater hoses from the TB, now remove one hose from the metal coolant line and then loop the other rubber hose to where the first line came off.
I have driven my EP3 without the heater hooked up for well over 4 years now. No issues at all.

so do you need to plug the nipples? also, the iac still requies cleaning once a while?
I did plug the nipples, but removed them over time. There is no need to cap the nipples on the TB.
