    Reverting an 05/06 DC5-S K-Pro

    Hey guy's

I'm sure most of you have seen my FS thread..
So lemme explain what's going on..

I purchased a kpro'd ecu locally from a member on ephatch maybe a year ago. During the time of the sale, he failed to mention that the ecu was already converted for an 05/06 DC5-S. I kept on throwing the code p0011 forever and I finally contacted Hondata and they confirmed that the ecu that I have is for an 05/06 DC5-S. From my understanding the 05/06 uses a high frequency signal which requires Hondata to mod an 02-04 RSX-S ECU or an 02-05 civic si ecu.

Now I found a dude on eBay that claim's that he can revert my ecu back to a low freq kpro'd ECU..
    Here is the auction link:

He quoted $150 to do this...
Has anyone ever heard/tried doing this?
    Is this legit?

Are you really going to trust a guy on ebay over what hondata says?

Why not just sell that kpro to a 05-06 guy and buy a 02-04?

I've been trying to do that...
Hondata does NOT sell the adapter harness separately... Hence selling my kpro'd ecu is really hard... I've contacted Hondata about this matter and quite frankly it seem's like they can give two shits about my problem... They advised me to "return" my kpro to the original owner.

Just to give fellow ephatcher's a head's up...

Hondata stated that the seller of the auction listing (Mr. Daniel Sanchez) is a well known scammer on clubrsx/k20a.... They highly recommended that I or anyone else should not be doing business with him.

Now I feel like I just got jipped...
