02/03 oem fog kit on a 04/05 ep

any one if this works?

i have a fog kit from my 03 and i want to install it onto my 04. i'm comparing the installation instructions for the 02/03 against the 04/05. the actual cutting of the bumper and the fog light harness seem to be the same on both 02/03 and 04/05. the difference comes with the main harness that's installed in the cabin.


differences:
-02/03 has 2 relays

-04/05 has 1 relay

-02/03 wiring for the fog switch harness uses diff color wires from 04/05

-the 12 pin connection for the 04/05 is used where as there is no 12 pin connection on the 02/03


i'm guessing that bc the headlights changed from h4 to a 9005/9006 setup that the fog light wiring changed. i can use all the connections from the 02/03 main harness but three things worry me:

1) will it work without the 12 pin connection on the main harness to the cabin fuse box?
2) i know just because i connect everything that doesnt mean it will work
3) i'm worried that i will fry something.

i know that this could/should be in the exterior section, but i was hoping that Chad (our electrical magician), Doug and other electronics guys could help me out.

From what i remember the 03 harness should be the same as the 04-05 but i am not 100% sure i know the 02 kit is different

no the harness is different. the main harness which is inside the cabin is different from the 04/05
