Start off with a main roll bar behind the front seats and branch off from there.

when you do that make sure you equate for the harness bar location and where it will go height wise so you can get the angle right for the harnesses...also whats important when properly building a good cage is you will want to triangulate in an "X" across the roof over the driver thus creating a safety cage, when you do this you then have to take into account helmet clearance...this then creates the issue of seat mount height and position as well...in the ep, you might not have as big of a problem with this considering theres some good head room in it...all i know is it has become a major issue when dealing with my 1st generation crx racecar...you can fit in that car and be 6'5", but once you have a cage and a helmet, even i start having problems at 5'10"...

OH and id also suggest picking up a rule book and make sure you build this cage to a class spec, or even build it so that you have room to upgrade to a higher class down the road
    my ep is white...

Theres also a 50lb bar in front of the dash. If you remove that and brace it into your cage you can shed some good weight. Also take the door panels off so you get as much room/shave as much weight as possible.

well a lot of this is dependent on how hes thinking of building the cage...the whole dash things get really tricky depending on how you handle it...
