What shocks to pair with Tein S-Techs?

My stock shocks finally blew after 4 years! I currently have Tein S-Techs on and would like to keep them. What shocks pair best with the S-Techs and last the longest? Any input greatly appreciated. Thank you!

$400-500 for parts. I think Tein shocks are too expensive for my budget.

d-specs are a solid bet. a few of the local guys are running them and love them. i'm running koni's once i stop procrastinating and put them in. i know a local here that is gonna sell a nearly new set of tokico blues soon.

Konis it is. Is the "heavy modification" a serious problem?

Haven't had an experience with them, but from my understanding you will need your stock shocks.

    That's the modification.

    due to budget constraints at the time...i bought Tokico Blues...after 3 yrs...still going strong...so I guess I can't complain...have them matched with H&r sport springs...corsport is a good vendor!

you have to cut the top off of the strut bodies up front, pull everything out of them and use the shell as the mount for the koni inserts. they go over the koni's like a sleeve.
