    Broken bushing need suggestions

I had my tires changed recently and found out that the front passenger side bushing circled below (I think it’s called the front control arm) was broken, I wanted to see if it was better to replace it with an OEM bushing or go with an aftermarket bushing, I don’t want to worry about it after I change it and make sure it lasts a long time

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Well, if you replace with aftermarket bushings (poly, Hard rubber or otherwise) you'll have to do both sides. OEM you won't. I think either will last long if you keep up on lubing them.

Honda lca bushings are common for cracking. Agreed. Aftermarket like urethane. You have to both sides. Oem Honda or not you can get away with one side. I think it's 20 per side on average.

Thanks. I was wondering if there was a diy on how to replace them. Hopefully that will get rid of my popping and alignment issues.

If you pull the whole lca like that, I would do the ball joints too. Get it all done in one shot. Had to pull mine twice. Not hard, but definately a big hassle. They're pressed in, rent a ball joint kit, or hammer out, hammer in.

@jerrymouas Thanks for posting the vid . . . it looks like a bitch to do. Are you going OEM or aftermarket?

@AttarixEp, just for clarification are you saying that it's okay to replace one side or is it recommended to do both?
It sounds like you're implying theres another method of replacing them?

If you put oem bushings in you can get away with one side. If you put in aftermarket urethane or similar you would want to do both.
