    Well a lot has happened.

Got a quick release and wheel. I really like the centering of the hub; you CANNOT put it on crooked. Stupid NASCAR!
The steering wheel just feels comfortable.

I got aligned and corner weighted. This is where I become frustrated.
So before my cage the car weighed around 2558lbs with me and 1/3 of a tank of fuel. I'm 145lbs, fuel is around 7lbs per gallon at 70*F. So, fuel was about, oh 30lbs give or take a little. So there was about 180lbs of me & fuel. So the car was at about 2378lbs without me and fuel.

Now the car weighs 2570 with me and 2/3 of a tank. So, again, me 145lbs, fuel is roughly 60lbs, 2570lbs, -205 in fuel and me. So, 2365lbs now after the cage. Wow, I lost a whopping 13lbs. Now my cage is abnormal, it's superbeef. I could have saved at least 75-100lbs in a minimal type cage. Though, that didn't make sense because of my low power to weight ratio. This puts me at around 9.4lbs per 1HP. As my cage builder said, that's not bad. No, no it's not bad. However, quite a bit above my goal of around 8.5lbs per 1HP.

I'm slightly back to the drawing board. I don't think I will actually remove much more weight. As I look at classing for a racing series, I'm finding myself digging a hole because of points for classing. Power to weight is a huge deal.

Is ok though, March is my first trip back to Infineon Raceway. That should give me a good indication as to how much the cage did. And will I be able to better my lap times?. I will see. I think it will be a HUGE difference.

    New corner weight and alignment.

    Braille battery, sweet!

I just need to go take a mini shoot. Agh, never ending.

Valve adjustment, bleed a clutch line and swap some oil. That's it. I have more work to do on my tow vehicle than anything. I better get crackin. It's only 3 weeks away. Oooooooo!

Looking good! Is there a reason youre only running 2.5 degrees camber up front? Is is just because of the stock struts?

JRZ soon enough. They'll be inverted oriented steel in the front, normal orientated aluminum rears. All custom.

What are all you bishes sleeping? Pussies! I'm almost 40. Pffft

CF backing plates. So no ripping and flying out.

sry if someone asked already but do u plan on entering any kind of racing series? i understand your car has to conform to certain regulations in some series so i'm just wondering if you already have something in mind cause your ep3 looks 100% race ready..wow!

If it doesn't make the car RUN, it gets pulled. Literally.

It can be. Just depends what gets cut out.

Right now I'm setting the car up for NASA STSU. Super Touring Super Unlimited (STSU). All of the safety rules are the same for everyone. Modifecations put you in a class.
What happens is for every mod you have that is not a stock OEM part, you take a point. If you have a BBK, that's 1 point. If you have ITR LCA's, that's not a point, it's OEM. BUT the spherical bushings in the ITR LCA's ARE a point. Add it all up, and all the mods determine the legal minimum weight you can be.

I'm really stuck. I have the toughest part of this going on now. Trying to balance points/weight/performance/and be competitive.

Well the good new is that those stock struts and springs are pretty heavy, so you will save a little more weight once you get your coilovers. It wont be much but it'll be something.
