I like the color, too bad he didnt mask off alot of things. At least with powder it wont come off and get stuck to the rubber seals like paint does. Luckily I found a great powder coater local who does it on the side in his garage. He super thorough, for example when he did my steering rack mounts he masked off the machined mounting surfaces, and he also plugs all threaded holes. Hes fairly inexpensive too

Nah. You should do something epic if you're going green, like a valve cover version of a Master Chief helmet or something.

Before I bought my JDM valve cover I did the wrinkle red mod on my stock one. I didn't care for the results of the wrinkle finish so I decided to go with a blue:

This is when I used the paint stripper to remove the stock silver, I never bothered taking a pic of the stripper taking off the wrinkle red.


After the paint stripper:


After the etch primer (thought this alone was kinda cool looking):


After spraying the blue:


And the final result:


I have yet to actually put on the car, but it looks pretty damn good hanging out in one of my garage cabinets lol.
