i just installed my CM stage 2 clutch.. rated for 450hp 365trq .. my car made 263whp 235wtrq.. yet still this clutch does not hold up.. if i ease into the gears they hold.. but once i go WOT it slips badly... now lets say i installed it bad somehow.. what could be the causes of this? i'm trying to find out if im at fault or the clutch was faulty. the clutch kit was type S specific, and it went into my EP3.

If you did not let it brake in for 500 miles or so, as you are supposed to if not you will make that $700 investment go to shit.
If you did then its most likely install error, or worst come to worst you got a bad apple outta Clutch Masters.
Yeah, my bet would be improper break-in. Supposed to drive it normal for ~500-1000 miles, like 617 said, so that the thing has a chance to get warmed up, so to speak. Then, you get to romp on it.
So I take it all is ok now with you CM clutch and whatnot ?
nah the clutch is shot.. i ordered a competition stage 4 disk and ima resurface a type s flywheel and the pressure place should still be okay to use. i think it was just bad springs and shit in the clutch.. im thinking i shoulda done the spacer on the pedal but iono ill do it this time and see what works out.. thanks tho guys
