yeah you're pretty much assed out on quality short shifters now that the BCSS is discontinued. This just reminds me if i'm going to fix this car up I need to get the ball rolling before more stuff goes the same path.

I dunno, kinda doubtful anyone is going to spend R&D time/money on the EP3. We're discontinued by five years now, the aftermarket support has moved on.
I'd say best bet if you want a real short shift is to keep eyes on the Classifieds here, ebay, and your local Craigslist.
Other than that, you're probably SOL.

For you BCSS owners, how big of a difference does it make for daily driving?

I'm planning to pick one up very soon :)

So sad BCSS are discontinued :( This is/was an awesome mod and really well built. I had a shortshifter on my last car and putted one on my EP3 as my first mod. This totally makes the difference in shifting. You could include shifter and tranny bushing with this and it will be a blast! btw I beleive in the myth that BCSS with bushing reduce the infamous grinding of our EP3 :P

cough cough, maybe inlinefour, cough cough, or some website that it cost $200.

forget it. someone beat me to it.

News is that the company making them requires 500 minimum production, but only about 40 were interested, so they don't plan to run production. However, they are negeotigating.
