any other BCSS owners think that the SS is nothing more than just a shorter OEM unit w/ a BC hologram sticker?

i actually always wondered if it had longer ...arms? where the cables connect to? thats the only way i could think they made it fit.

Hmm...I think it's more than just a shorter height or longer cable mounts. I seem to remember some of the bends being different throughout when I had my OEM and BCSS side by side during install.
In other words, I'm pretty sure that there are differences throughout the design, not just a simple shorter column or longer mounting point.

u know what, i bet the dimentions are the same, but the way it works on the inside, it moves the arms more so its like a SS. hmmmm INTERESTING =]

The BCSS was one of my favorite mods that I had on my EP & the Neuspeed adapter couldn't hold a candle to it. There is no replacement for full replacement. The same holds true for my current car('07 FA5). I first bought the Comptech SS adapter followed by the USDM Mugen full replacement SS & now have the JDM Mugen full replacement SS.

You know how sometimes we have a problem going into reverse. So I have to let go of the clutch, push it back down, and try again. Well, I wasn't in my best mood, and it wouldn't go into reverse.....so I decided to vent my frustrations and tried to slam it in. I slammed it and I suddenly felt the shifter move around like I was stirring a big pot with a spoon.

Moral of the story, don't try to slam the shifter in reverse.

I'm glad I got mine a few years ago then!!!! I had the neuspeed one and it was crap compared to the Buddy Club unit..... The shifts a compared to an S2000 shifter!!!

this sucks for those who didnt get one.. i did mine and yes much better then the stock one.. i had to modify mine for the 6speed. but it works great! ill take offers on mine and if its high enought ill sell what the heck...lol
