      Curious to know what metal the hoods of the Miata and Evo are... The bonus of the S2k is that OEM is ALUMINUM, all about the weight savings. So, no rust to worry about.

      Nice, thanks for all the ideas and kind words. The hood got a ton of attention at IA this weekend, both bad and good. Everyone had some kind of opinion on it. I saw an EK up there with a polished hood which was cool, so I think I'll keep working on it.

      I believe the Miata and Evo hoods are aluminum as well... you can get some really good luster out of aluminum.
