    ? on tuning

    i have a 2005 ep3 with full catbacke exhaust header and intake. i put every thing on yesterday and kept the ecu stock of course and after a few races the car threw a check engine. i had my boy hook up the scanner to it and it was throw the o2 codes. my question is why considering ur not gain an incredible amouit of power which means lil change is it throw codes? do i have to buy a k pro just to use bolt ons?

    If you use a race header you have to use an O2 "defouler" on the secondary O2 (the one farthest from the engine). The stock ECU compares this sensors readings to the primary to see if your catalytic converter is working. The secondary O2 does nothing to affect engine performance.

    Do not use a "defouler" on the primary!

    If you're still using the stock cat then you probably have other problems...

    ok got ya. but i hove another question. where do i find one. and the sensor i guess is reading wrong on both sensors, because it reads bank one and bank 2 which i guess means both???

    Post the exact codes, they're in the format P####.
