    Car Detailing - Honda Accord

Finished my friend's Accord today. It was day and night difference when it comes to dark color cars.

    Pre-Wash

Cleaned up the foggy headlights (could had been better, but ran out of sandpaper)

    Post-Wash

    Finished Product

Total time took 6.5 hrs. I cut a few corners since I was pretty much beat (owner didnt mind). It would had took longer if the owner and the wife didn't pitch in (we had dinner reservation).

    Materials used:
    Car Soap (Got from Costco)
    Natural Sea Sponge
    Dual Bucket with Grit Guard
    Tarminator

    ArmorAll Carpet Cleaner
    303 Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner
    Invisible Glass
    303 Aerospace Protectant

    Meguiars Claybar
    Meguiars Quik Detailer
    Porter Cable 7424XP
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #1 (with white pad)
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #3 (with orange pad)
Menzerna Power Lock (with black pad)
    Wheel Wax
No Touch Wet N Protect Tire Finish

Headlights came out great man, but you still got some swirling in the paint there... That green does have some nice pop to it though.

Swirls are very minimum. What you might be seeing are actually deep scratches my friend did to his car by taking it to those car wash places.

hahah. cost of airplane ticket plus food. =) I thought of trying to get better at this and do it as a side job, but dang!!! My back is so sore the next day after doing this. I think photography would be a better approach for me. =)

Zero. I just do it for friends for free. Don't want to help others do it unless I know them personally. Liability issues. thx for the compliments though.

nice. i never heard of a car wash putting deep swirls into anything though. you can buff out anything that doesn't actually touch the paint. if u wanted...the secret is you have to sand swirls away and buff it to a shine. otherwise, swirl mark remover isnt as effective.
