    Angry Wheel Hop Anger >:(

well guys im looking to get to the track, but i cant seem to get my car out of the hole without horrible wheel hop. I have 4 innovative mounts so it's not motor shake. I have to slip the clutch lightly and have to be below 1/2 throttle on the 2 step to get it to not hop horribly. I just want clean launches!!! I was thinking maybe mugen hard compliance bushings and lower control arm bushings. My struts are also not the greatest. I have D-specs, there's no bounce to them, there just noisy. Any suggestions?

If your struts are stiff that will give you wheel hop as well. I had skunk 2 pro s coilovers on my car and had trouble with wheel hop. When I switched to tein super streets w pillowball along with falken 615's it damn near disappeared. GREAT suspension the Tein is over the skunk 2 setup anyday.

Stiff struts DO NOT cause wheelhop, they actually help guard against wheelhop in most cases. A peg leg diff will cause wheelhop to show it's face. FWD cars inherently have wheelhop built into the design due to weight transfer, add soft springs, crap traction and you have wheelhop

Engine mounts have absolutely NO IMPACT on wheelhop what-so-ever ! ! !

Hard, cold, wet tires can induce wheelhop. If you go to the track get a set of dedicated drag tires.
