hondata reflash on 05ep3

will the reflash work on an 05 ep3? i see that on the website it says only 2002-2004 models. is there a reason why it wont work on my 05?

It will work on the '05 SI (hatchback), but not the '06 (coupe). The '06s have Drive By Wire and a different ECU.

actually I don't think the 05 ecu works with the reflash man.

So I talked with a guy from Hondata. 05's can not be reflashed since we are PNF A13's.

your options are to get an 02-04 ecu, take it to honda and have it paired to your immobilizer and then send the ecu to hondata for reflashing, get kpro or forget about it

It should work, same car same motor. So why not the same ecu? Just take a look at ur ecu if its pnf then yeah u can have reflashed.

I think the 05s are a PNF*-A13 which is not supported.

A1 and A12 are.

Not an expert but that's what the other thread says.

dang that sucks, i dont really want to drop a grand on kpro, 290 for the flash is more reasonable for my car....oh well thanks guys

PM me Blue I have a spare ECU you can Buy for Cheap... its for an 03 SI... I wasn't going to let it go but seems like you need it... Its Brand new from Honda...
