    k24 $6-700
    I really want 6spd so that's $800-1k

    Hey guys im getting ready to finally do my K24A1 swap with K20A2 trans. just waiting on an LSD
    Im doing it myself with a few friends.
    I've never done an engine swap.
    What kind of hurdles can i expect?
    I can use my stock wiring harness an stuff right?
    do i need a laptop for kpro ready?
    What do i need to know??????

    nothing really, maybe that c clip on the trans being the hardest part. highly suggest a lift if u can and pull motor from bottom. much easier. all you would have to do is unbolt things andlift the car.

    yes.

    it would b nice but not needed (right away) for a crv swap.

    if u can swing a new clutch and fly i'd just put it all togetether and make life easy. also pulling out the harness from the ecu is not that hard either, and its easier to transfer it over to the new motor this way instead if in the bay, for lack of room. i only took the main harness out, not the charge or anything. that big rubber grommet thing on the harness is easy to redo, you just have to put the rubber on it first before you pop the plug back in the firewall.

    its pretty simple. you can pretty much wing it all by looking at whats connected. hit me up if u need help.
