can't go wrong with a Disco Potato... especially on a 2.0L
so im new to thw whole turbo thing..but my buddie is seling a gt28 that was going to go in his 240 and he said its rebuild with garett internals.. and it all looks brand new..no shaft play..is this a good turbo to run on my k20a3..?
it has a internal waistgate..
what are the waistgate springs set for on these..? is 200 a good price..?

i would say yes. but i would google it to see how much it goes for online ya know. i just checked and it came up as 800-1000 dollars.....humm might be a keeper..
its all up to if you trust your friend is going to sell you it and it really has no problems. if so then you just got a good ass deal!
is it a GT28 or a GT28RS? those two little letters make a big difference.
provided it was well-rebuilt, it's a good deal regardless of RS or not. and it's a good fit for the K20. but, if this was intended for 240, i am assuming it is T25 flanged. if i'm correct in my assumption, this will limit your choices of commercially-available exhaust manifolds. as far as i know, this is all there is: http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=657
well guys i bought it.. took it to local turbo shop here in springs and they told me it was a gerrett dual ball bearing turbo..
worth 1,200 and one of the workers there offered me 500 on the stop after inspection.. but i refused couse im using it on the ep3...thanks.would you guys like pictures of it..?
