Look at what I found in France!

Cost me $280 for shipping. Cost me $220 for the carpet. Took 4 business days to get to me. I visited a CTR forum in France and PM'ed everyone who owned a 30th AE EP3 CTR. As luck would have it I found someone that was parting his LHD CTR red carpet due to his gutted race car EP3.

I can only guess the sender rolled it vs. folding it and proceeded to package it with a ton of packaging materials. Still VERY steep.

Shipping from Europe costs a lot. I do it every day. That doesn't sound unreasonable to me at all.

It may seem like a lot to us, but number-wise, Canadians pay more for everything (even with the appreciation of their dollar). Think of these numbers in the same sense you would have thought of those numbers back in 2000-2005 era where our currency was worth considerably more than theirs.

He quoted me several shipping companies and DHL was the best deal. The $280 included, shipping, insurance and he even covered the duty (aka taxes). Great buy. I'm stoked to install it. I will have my JDM EP3 CTR and OEM EP3 SiR carpets up for sale soon.

Seeing how the Canadian dollar is doing well right now, and the Euro not so much, this was the time to find and buy an EP3 CTR LHD red carpet. Thanks for the koodos!

Great score on the carpet, kudos for doing the hard leg work finding it!!!

But too rich for my blood for carpet, though the out of control interior of my old EP3 cost more than that........

As far as the shipping price, it usually costs me several percentage points more to get parts from canada than from europe!
