I'm split still. I was leaning RH because I could still use regular gas. But with reflash you're still emissions legal. I'm just going to wait and save my money because I can't use either with a k24 swap down the road.

i had a race header than got reflash a few months later...car ran fine with no problems
Some words of caution: Mixing a Raceheader with the Magnaflow cat-back can get "sport bikey" above 4000 rpms....
what i'm hearing is "should i get a rh and then get light 500 dollars on fire and then spend 900 on kpro because burning 500 bucks didn't really do it for me"
racehader then KPRO
correct me if i'm wrong, but the reflash WAS around 400-500 dollars, and even when you "upgrade" you're still spending another 400 or so dollars. am i right or wrong? because EVERYONE i talk to who got the reflash ALWAYS regrets doing it because its never enough, and they end up dropping more coin on k-pro
na. Im pretty content with what I got. Im done with engine modding. But I/h/e and kpro will not be enough to feed the need of most on here. Honestly if u wana be in the modding game and ur gona mod an a3 then u better look into boost. If ur just doing boltons with kpro then seriuosly what are u gona beat? Maybe a type S with boltons? Some older Si's or maybe some single cam hatches? The list of what an a3 with boltons and kpro can beat isnt an impressive list.
But to OP go with the raceheader first then kpro. Then once u realize a bolton a3 is slow u can atleast get a JRSC and slap it on there and be somewhat satisfied

Listen to everyone in this thread and get a RH first. You should probably buy my Jackson Racing RH I have for sale in the classifieds. It is hands down one of the best RH's out for the EP3, especially because it is Stainless Steel. JR no longer makes this header.
