    Exclamation K24 SWAP info needed.

I have a k24 block that the oil filter mounting location is interfering with where the passenger side axle bracket lines up. The block is a K24Z1 from a crv, and the oil filter mounting location is right where the passenger axle bracket (the one with 4 bolts) mounts. I would like to make a block off plate, but then the bracket would not sit flush and I would only be able to install some of the bolts. What have the K24 swap guys used as far as axles go, and any ideas on the oil filter problem? Any ideas on which axles will work?
    1. Do aftermarket axles have the aluminum bracket as the stock k20a3 passenger one does?
    2. PLEASE HELP! Also, does anyone have a link to any oil filter location block-off ideas?
    3. Can you block it off and install the filter elsewhere while still retaining excellent oil flow?
    4. Can I run the axles WITHOUT the bracket without any adverse effects?
Here is a link to the pictures for the 03 si axle. You can see the bracket with th 4 bolts.

This may get moved to the swap section, but are you running the CRV passenger mount? That isi mandatory for installing a K24 and sounds like your problem.

You have the newer engine design where the oil filter is located down low in the middle of the rear side of the girdle, I would expect you may need the intermediate shaft and will need the carrier bearing mount from the same year CRV as the engine came out of.

There are NO aftermarket intermediate shafts.

And it needs to be solidly bolted down.
