$500-$1,000 is a fair range.
I'm in the middle of picking up a K20A2 motor/tranny w/ harness.
My car is a 02 EP3 with:
JRSC 3.8 Pulley
K-pro
440cc Injectors
JRRH
Tanabe Exhuast
Injen Cai
CC Stage 4 w/Lightweight FW (I also have a spare fidanza flywheel)
I'm wanting to run the EP3 JRSC on the K20A2 and my other mods except for the injectors. I'll be going 650cc or 750cc instead. From looking around I know most of the mods I listed will fit the K20A2. I'm also going to pick up a set of the innovative motor mounts a swell for this swap.
I do not have the tools or time to do the swap myself. This car is my DD and I have a specific goal for it in mind with this swap along with the JRSC.
What should I expect for a shop to charge to do the swap? I'm in Montgomery, AL and would be willing to drive to drop the car/parts off if someone has a shop they recommend for this type of thing.
Thanks,
Josh

Its gona vary from shop to shop. Different shops have different hourly rates. Plus it matters on what parts they will have to order. Some places like to replace certain parts when doing swaps while others might not.
Well I got a quote from the shop closet to me and it made me cringe.
I'm going to head up there and let him take a look at the car to see if we can drop the number else I may drive a state away.
**EDIT: Also I'm going to provide them with all the main parts. If they end up needing anything else I'll be surprised.
I have my list on how much my swap cost it wasnt pretty. but i can post it for u to help. But it was hella expensive plus there are lots of after market parts on my list. It cost me almost 10k when it was said and done. But that includes engine turbo new clutch new fly custom intake, custom 3in exhaust, motor mounts, air filter, new oil, oil filter, battery relocator to trunk etc etc
Here i jsut went and took some pics of my biill. This doesnt include engine, turbo kit, motor mounts and dyno time

Go to a performance shop that work on imports and fixed up cars all the time. A few shops I went to wanted around $700 for labor. Some wanted more but they competed with each other for the lowest price.
I could probably point you to a few people/shops in B'ham that could get the job done if you're interested. I'd offer to do the job but I really don't feel like doing another EP swap within a month... lol
Also does anyone know if the EP3 JRSC setup will clear everything fine with a K24A1 swap?
my swap labor not including labor for brakes installation is $890
yea his price is about right
