    i vouch for the kpro, holds it's value if you need to resell and makes a hell of a difference with just bolt ons

    is your car paid off already?
    If it isn't i would just save it incase you lose your employment.
    $1K will be good for atleast 90days to find another job.

    OP, you're pretty young from what I remember seeing, right? If the car is totally paid off, and this is complete excess income, then I'd spend it. I'm not suggesting that you are currently doing this, but don't spend all the money you make on your car. I've seen lots of friends do this and never have money to go out, go on trips, etc... and really miss out on experiences.

    Go for Kpro, it opens up the most possibilities for future mods.
