So I'm washing my car today...

...and I take a look at my Momo shift knob and decided to touch it up! I also took a bunch of pictures because I tested out the camera on my htc imagio. btw if you don't like what you see, be nice

as you can see the top is very corroded and the boot isn't flush with the knob...i dunno why i left it on like that for so long..

    momo!

    wtf?

so i after wrapping in blue painters tape i thought...ZOMG...Ill keep it that way!!!!1!

    ...jk

    sanding the crap off...

i have to admit, i like just the chrome look better, but honestly...for just f'n around, i think it came out pretty decent...

and here it is back in the car with the boot fixed

    thanx for checking!

thanks to all the replies! we'll see how long it lasts, i was thinking of getting a red-stitched boot & going back to the oem honda knob.

It looks like it will. I'm trying to keep my car as oem as possible so this shift knob has to go soon lol. Do you have the red stitched boot? I noticed this morning going to work shifting into 1st, 3rd, 5th pulls the boot too much.

perfect! looks so clean. i went on the site and its saying "shift boot & armrest"...is it referring to the armrests on the doors? <- if so I might get them too!

Armrest would be on the middle of your car where the handbrake is.
