    Peakboost - but what turbo?

Look at getting a PB kit.
But I'm having some problems picking a upgrade turbo.

The one that comes with the kit is a t3/t4.

I should start by saying that the turbo will be installed on a stock k24a2.
future mods will be a 2.6L stroker, maybe a head massage.

I want a turbo that makes decent mid-range power and will be not fall flat on its face like the suby stock turbos are notorious of doing.

These are my options, but maybe i'm missing a few:

    GT3071R
    GT3076R
    GT35R
    T67

    which should i consider getting?

you should also start by explaining what "decent" power means to you.

    ASSUMing it's around 400hp, you can do just fine with a properly sized basic T3/T04. I'd say a STGIII .63 a/r turbine-side with a T04E 60-trim compressor side.

if you must go for a GT upgrade (can't say I would blame you for that), a GT3071R would suit you well.

If you're leaning more towards 500hp, go with the GT35R.

decent power in my book is right of the bat near 400. I'll be happy in the 380-420 range.

But I would also like room to grow... say 475 tops...

To me honest... I'm not really into the hp rating game. i want to have the most usable torque as possible.
Sure as hell aint usuable if you spinning all the time. Althought it would be kinda cool to spin then in 4th. hehehe

I'm looking for a nice steady climb and then FLAT like Keira Knightley's chest.

Old, but the turbo that comes with the kit will meet your goals. If you have to upgrade the 3076r will be good.

Have you considered the Borg-Warner Extended Tip turbos yet? I would take a look at the S256 or the S258. Amazing turbos!

Civic5lug has my old full-race setup with a t3/t04e 60 trim and he made 42?hp and 3?? tq with a stock k24a2. I got a newer full-race setup with a t67 and made 440 on a t67 with a stock k20a2. So i would go with one of those turbo's or if you want a ball bearing go with the 3076

Between those choices, the GT35R gets my vote along with .82 on the exhaust side.
If you want usable torque, is a 2.6 stroker really neccessary?

I would work with one the kit comes with t3/t4, and see how you like it while getting used to the boost... then if you want, it's easy to sell that turbo and upgrade if you feel you need more. I'm still running my t3t4, and even after fully building the motor, I'm still happy with the power its giving me (for now )

That's the standard size turbo for peak-race kits.
One of my friends made 470 with one on a stock a2 on a mustang dyno.
