    I made a boot!

Wanted the JDM style red stitched boot. Did not want to pay $$, so I made one for $5.
Mind you all I never had any stitching or sewing experience at all, just watched a lot of youtube videos

the stitching looks off in the next photo...its not, just the other parts of the fabric were folded more closely at the time...

all stitched up & trimmed, ready to be flipped inside out & installed

    and now the goodies...

    Next...my door panels

Nice job! It reminds me of how I years ago stripped out the gears on my mom's $5000 sewing machine while making panels for my old MG. She was pissed!! Anyway, looks like yours came out good!

i was actually thinking about it after i was done...but nah. it was a pain in the a$$ measuring, cutting, snipping, sewing everything just right, i don't think id really want to do it again. plus i designed it just to get my oem shift knob back. i must say it was time well worth it. probably around 2 hours total.

thanks for all the replies, if you guys like i might write up a diy for it
