    AF oxygen sensor??

Okay i was doing some research on the site about the code
p1166 and p1167 and it seems to me that its my AF oxygen
sensor my primary sensor. I read that the denso 234-9005
would fit my 02 civc si?? i found a sensor for 105 shipped but
i wanted to make sure it would fit before i ordered it.
I checked the 3 fuses that could cause my CEL light to come
on but they seem to be good, my last resort is order the sensor.
If any of you guys know if the denso will fit my car let me know
    please thanks you guys.

Really... dang i read that the 234-9005 would fit.
that the only thing different was the wire size.
the 234-9005 is just an inche longer. Also the
9005 is less expensive. 9004 is up in the 180s
If i bought the 9005 and spliced the wires into the
OEM connector would that work?? i seen a lot of
af sensors being sold without connectors.

I have looked for cheap ones and the only cheap ones r the secondary o2 sensor
the primary is the most expensive. i seen some for 50 and 60 but its the secondary
one, the cheapest i found for the primary one was 105 from denso 9005. Im going
to order it and see if that will fix my problem b/cuz im gettting horrible gas mileage
right now. Once it alrives and i get it install ill keep you posted. Thank you very much.

Ok thanks i seen it. That will fit a 02 civic si right? it says 01-05 honda civic but
i see at the bottum it says 03 Si 2.0 ... 02-03 are the same for our hatch right?
Does the part#NP2344122 matter? It doesnt need to b 234-9005 or 9004?
You saved me 60 dollars! If this is the right sensor man!!

I think that sensor the one for 28 is the secondary sensor..
i was looking at the picture and the primary is longer than
the secondary. this is the primary one:
    http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...o_02sensor.jpg
The secondary one its a little shorter:

I think the site has them switched around. in there case i need the rear one. and that $177

Yes I fixed the problem, i had Doug help me out.
The reason i had the code showing up was because both of
my sensors were before the cat, so i went to my local muffler shop
to have the secondary sensor repositioned to after the cat and it fixed the
problem. i have a defouler on the secondary sensor maybe that is helping out too.
Hope this is your problem also Steve, if not i really recommend you to ask Doug
    http://www.ephatch.com/forum/member....46-talonXracer There is his profile.
If you need anything else let me you. How is your exhaust set up? Possibly you will need
a defouler, if you have an aftermarket exhaust.
