Precautions before upping boost on a Greddy kit...

Im planning on upping the boost on my Greddy kit. What is needed?

    Upgraded map sensor
    Injectors? (I have 440s)
    K-pro
    boost controller/hondata boost solenoid

Anything else? Also what is a safe level for an a3 daily driving. Thanks!

I would run a mbc for faster spool. If you really want the solenoid, go on ebay and buy a mac solenoid with brass fittings, one will have a filter on it. It is the same exact one as the hondata for half the price cause it doesnt have a hondata sticker on it. you can max out that turbo before you make too much power for the engine,16psi ish, put it on a dyno.

I actually already got a sweet deal on a Greddy profec spec 2. I have a hondata 4bar and kpro of course. Currently im running at 8.5psi on the stock greddy map. How much could I run still on the stock map? 10psi? Then anything above get semi-tuned?

From what i remember 10.5 is the most on stock map.. and as for a tune, i wouldn't do any semi tune when i comes to boost.. a good full tune is where your going to make alot of gains while keeping you engine safe. Dont cut corners or you might have to find a new dd.
Also my car made about 60whp over the hondata base tune on about the same amount of boost just by working the timing and a/f.
