Well the time finally came to boost the ep3, fortunatlly I was
able to pick up a semi-complete RevHard Turbo kit about 2 weeks ago which included of::
*Precision SC34
*RevHard log manifold
*RevHard intercooler
*RevHard piping/couplers/t-clamps
*oil feed & return
*38mm tial wastegate
*Vortech bov
*3' downpipe/ custom dumptube
This is my turbo kit mounted on my old grumpy k20a3 that gave out on nitrous..lol.:
As part of the process of cleaning and prepping i hit up Oreily's and bought VHT paint in silver for the compressor housing, and burnt copper for the manifold n turbine housing.
As of October 8 2010 i immediatley got to working on it with my boi Joe who was
helpful enough to let me borrow his shop aswell his time (big shout out to T&T AUTO experts woot woot)
First we agreed on knocking out the stg3 clutch n flywheel install:
Out with the old..
In with the new

After tranny install moved on to removing bolt-ons.
Yea i know a bit dirty but i washed it away with a lil degreaser.
Afte that mounted the wastegate on the manifold, then bolted everything else to the head!
Finally all done and call it a night. Piping, intercooler, oil pan, downpipe, injectors/clips next...

Precision 880 cc's with clips arrived!!
Brought the 3' dp from home heatwrapped.
Moving on to having my boi Dennis soldering clips to harness and mount injectors to mani/ fuel rail.
Grinding dwn throttle bracket to fit with fuel fitting
Oil pan arrived just in time to finish the install!!
Few pics with the downpipe installed.
And Finito!! Fully assembled and ready to fire it up. Excuse the ghetto supports for the fmic, sucks not to have a re-bar but will right away get some custom mounts welded.

i want to see this. How long til it's running and tuned? I thought I wanted to just go jrsc with meth or nitrous on my k24a1, but lately I have really thought about just going turbo and aiming for 350.
well the car is up and running I'm just behind on my build thread but ill update more info this afternoon
