Got a JDM Bumper with a replica lip? Post here

Well it was over a year and a half since i got the lip off uk ebay, and since we didnt deal with ebay and did it private i dont have a record on ebay or the sellers name anymore. I did try searching on uk ebay to see if i could find the seller again but i had no luck. I will check out my paypal records to see if i can get an email address of the guy i got it from. If you guys/gals search uk ebay search for a civic splitter or bumper a lot of good stuff shows up. A lot of sellers there are willing to ship over seas.

Yeah I was checking it out when the post was made just to see and I couldn't find but one replica lip and it was for a 04-05. I think Speedstar sells replicas but I wonder {w/o having to hunt down people} if you could cut the middle man out and find a vendor who sells em in Europe like you did.

what is your replica lip made of?

it was made from fiber glass

if anyone wants replica jdm mugen lips, 02-03 or 04-05, i believe that vis sells them, just give them a call. Although they were back ordered when i tried to order one in august.

JDM front rebar can be purchased from Wayne @ Speedstar Racing, Chuck @ Showstoppers. They SHOULD cost around $170ish. Whats in underline in your quote, Idk what you're talking about,

Just have to get my rebar done, and get this stuff painted. What i'm worried about since i've never dealt with aftermarket parts and paint/fit/finish..... the lip doesn't seem to sit flush on the sides where they would normally install screws .... if I make one side sit INSIDE the lip and fit snug, the center area is off center and the other side is way off from being flush. If I have it completely center like in this pic, both sides are about half an inch away from tucking inside the lip. I'll grab better pics....and get a autobody shop to take a look on monday.

mines the same too, the part on the lip that touches the grill need to be trimed to fit the slots of the grill, the actual mugen lip has notches i believe

EP-Unit do you have pics ? Did yours fit snug ? Are you talking about the bottom grill where the foglight area is? What did you do about the sag where the license plate goes?

I kinda gave up installing it but i pmed you my thead that i made showing what i was talking about. As for the sagging i was thinking of just cutting it out but well see, LMK if you come up with a solution for yours tho..
