Depending on what kind of warranty you got with your car or if you even have the Honda Factory Warranty still you may be able to get it taken care of for nothing.

I work at a dealership and we always have warranty paint claims coming in from bad factory paint jobs.

I know this thread is outdated but I'm starting to lose some of the clear coating on my wing, and I'm not sure if there is a warranty with the car anymore. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Clear coat failure could be from crappy body shops after shoddy paint jobs. Especially after accidents.

Anybody got any ideas besides the asking about the warranty? I plan on calling up Honda tomorrow and see if my car is still under warranty but just in case it's not, are there any options in repairing the clear coat or am I just going to have to take it to a shop? Btw, the wing is the part that's showing major damage.

Which is more likely than anything else. Either that or they're washing their cars with Dawn and a tire brush.
