Install question JDM "H" badge

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Just picked up my 02 silver SiR
yesterday. I got a set of JDM CTR H badges. after holding the front one up
the front of my stock one, the JDM one appears slightly smaller.
Has anyone ran into any problems installing theirs? Shop I got the badges from mentioned removing the mount plate all together, is this what has to be done?

just pull the front part of the bumper back. (you move it back by pulling those i think 8 plastic screws that hold the front part of the bumper) and it is 2 phillips screws that holds that platform in. simply remove them and behind it is a flat base. that flat base is where the CTR emblem goes onto:)

Thanks for the reply and the welcome, just wanted to make sure it was the right one before started pulling it appart.
