    control arm help !!

    i need a new lower rear passenger side control arm for my car as it is damage and id like to find a used one if possible, and i would like to know if there is any ones i can steal off another make of car like rsx or civic coupe, some help would be appricated as a new one is 450 from the dealer

    you need a special socket to remove ep rear lower control arms, SPC sells it

    what kind of socket is it and what bolts do u use it on ?

    It is a special 10 pointed torx style head. There are a few companies that sell them, SPC etc

    The bolt pattern precludes any other vehicle from being a donor

    i dont need any other peices than the lower control arm that is a S shape round tubing, one of a 2004 civic coupe looks the same and also a rsx look very simular.

    what do u mean by bolt pattern? and would one from any year ep3 work?

    Ahh ok that is the trailing arm, the rear piece is the lower control arm. Yes the if you can find the entire piece(as sold by honda) fro a typeS it should bolt right in.

    On line the entire thing new is only about 195$ each side

    sorry trailing arm, the rsx ones and civic coupe trailing arms look the same online im just not sure how to verify this, the part numbers are almost identical, and what does S.P.C stand for?
