231whp on 5 LBS?! NICE!
I would say that before you go with the smaller pulley you are probably going to need bigger injectors. If you are using the RSX type JRSC you can get away with 550cc, but if it is the EP JRSC, then you will have to go up to 650cc. The 550s will not work on the EP JRSC manifold. Keep us informed with the progress!
And post a dyno sheet!!!1!
BlownSi05 is right. you need bigger injectors. Also with the A3 bottom end - make sure you keep good oil in it and don't beat the hell out of it for 20-30 min straight...it doesn't have oil squirters and you do not have a built bottom end
thats actually pretty good with an a3 bottom and a2 head. good job. lets see the dyno sheet and some pics :)
those are nice numbers for 5psi man, i made 241. on 7.5psi on my A3, good recommendation for upping the boost, swap out the turbo cams to an all motor grind like S2 stage 1's. the turbo cams have a bad overlap for supercharged setups, they try to aid in spooling what cant be spooled. i beleive a itr intake cam and a 06-07 k24a2 exhaust cam would be the cat's meow for a close to 300whp recipe!
shouldnt the tq be higher even at 5 psi? just wondering
I think it would be very tough to hit 300whp on an a3 bottom end. Try the kelford 1 cam. Its cheap and has been proven
I know dynos are different. My A3 made 132whp with I/H/E and stock ECU
just wondering are using the 5spd or 6spd tranny? please post some videos.
