    Parking Brake Indicator

I've just installed a new head unit in my 2003 Si and many features are disabled until I find where to connect the parking brake indicator cable. All I've been able to find thus far is info on how to work around this safety feature. I'd rather not take apart the whole center console unless it is nessicary, but it seems to me the proper line for me to tap comes up from the emergency brake pull and makes its way to the wiring harness / gauge cluster area. If I could get a little direction as to the color and location to find this wire that'd be great.

I'm new to this forum, and I just bought the car two weeks ago so I'm still figuring it all out.

What kind of head unit? I bypassed my e-brake cable on my Avic unit by changing some wires around on the harness, and grounding the e-brake wire. I didn't feel like finding the wire either, lol! There may be a similar method for yours.

The wire is buried within the harness, either access it at the cluster or at the ebrake. Removing the center console is very easy. The Ebrake wire is a +12vdc line.
