    RBB manifold and Karcepts adapter..issue...

    Hi guys,

I Will be using RBB manifold with K20A3 TB and I'm currently in the process of swapping parts.

I received my karcepts adapter and I find myself puzzled....:o

My RBB manifold has 2 studs sticking out where I should be screwing the Karcepts adapter hex bolts..
    see picture: http://wiki.clubcivicquebec.com/images/9/91/RBB.jpg

Can I remove these two studs ? if so, How ?

How did you guys install yours ?

grinding them off doesn't seem like a good option as it would leave only two hex bolts to do the job of 4...

Thanks for any advice you might have.

i had this problem too but those studs unscrew, use a pair of vice grips or adjustable pliers and get a good grip because they are tight

ya, I just managed to remove them with an even easier method ( tried the vise grip with no luck )

It's actually pretty straightforward after I watched this video...

If u ever want to take a stud out just jam two hex nuts together, tighten them together while they are on the stud, then loosen the bottom one. It will lock up against the top nut and force the stud to unscrew.
