Have you tried Peanut Butter it may sound stupid but it works good on bronze wheels. The Peanut oil is good for gettin rid of oxidation. http://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1742344
sandblasting is FTW. but only if it's a smaller machine and you go easy with it. i've never used aircraft stripper though
i accually tried that the other day and it just made it worse... how long are you suppose to leave the peanut butter on for????
I would just get them done by a professional, they aren't cheap wheels and I wouldn't risk damaging them.
alright here are the wheels on my car after i cleaned them but the picture is dark ill get some better pictures when it stops raining.

this picture is before i slammed it back out.
What method did you use to clean the wheels?
elbow grease and alot of penut butter and tire shine.... sounds crazy but it will work until i can get them refinished.
I see thats cool well looks a lot better then they did before. So the peanut butter worked out pretty well?
ya it worked out good.... the wheels have that 10 ft look haha get up close and you can see all the stains on them. but im pretty particular about my stuff so im gonna get my wheels refinished.
glad you were able to clean them up
